Subscribing to CMT.blog by email means each new post will arrive in your inbox when it’s published. Here’s what that looks like.
What You Get
- The whole post. Emails carry the full text, not a teaser, with the date it was published.
- Only the topics you want. When you subscribe, you can choose to receive everything or anything published within one to six different topical categories. You can always change them later. The categories are:
- Research: Summaries and explanations of new research aimed at identifying the causes of and cures for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT).
- Diagnosis: How CMT and other neuropathies are diagnosed and classified, from nerve conduction studies to genetic panels.
- Pain and Physical Health: Use it and lose it: pain, fatigue, breathing, sleep, and the exercise and practical care that help.
- Mind, Family, and Identity: Mental health, family, disability, and living in a body other people misread.
- Culture and Resistance: Art, literature, and critique: writing about disease, disability, and the institutions around them.
- Resources: Organizations, clinics, events, and practical supports, especially in Canada.
- No ads and no paid tier. Everything is free, and nothing is held back for paying subscribers because there are none.
How Often
Expect at least two posts a week in 2026 and 2027. Not everything published on the site goes out by email, such as small notes and additions to the updates and corrections log.
Replying
If you reply to one of these emails, your reply is posted as a public comment on that post. To write to me privately, use the contact page instead, or dan@cmt.blog.
